Step 1

Getting started

Sign in with Google, complete your profile under Account → Profile, and turn on your public portfolio so other photographers can discover your work.

1. Create your account at /login (Google sign-in).
2. Open Account → Profile — add bio, username, avatar, and social links.
3. Keep Portfolio public enabled so /photographers and your /portfolio page stay visible.
4. Browse /challenges and pick a challenge that matches your style or format.

Step 2

Submitting to a challenge

Each challenge has its own format — standard, mobile-only, AI vs Camera, weekly battle, and more. Always read the Rules tab before uploading.

1. Open the challenge → Submit tab while submissions are open.
2. Upload your image(s) — some formats require tagged pairs (e.g. Camera + AI).
3. Add a title and description; AI vs Camera entries need prompt + model disclosure.
4. Submit once — admins moderate entries before they appear in gallery and voting.

Step 3

Voting & compliments

1. During the voting phase, visit the challenge Vote page.
2. Cast votes for work that moves you — daily caps keep voting fair.
3. Leave compliments on gallery entries to encourage fellow photographers.
4. Watch the Leaderboard to see community favourites rise.

Step 4

Your career portfolio

Every approved entry feeds your public portfolio — a living record of challenges, votes, and wins.

1. Share your portfolio link from the profile hero or Account settings.
2. Featured work and journey timeline update automatically from your submissions.
3. Winners and awards appear when admins announce results.
4. Get discovered via /photographers, leaderboards, gallery lightboxes, and compliments.
